About Me
I live in Lakeville with my husband and two daughters. We also have two dogs, two cats and more fish than we can count. Our house is busy and full. Our days are filled with taking walks alongside Lake Marion, taking family pictures at Ritter Farm Park, riding our bike up to Dairy Delite and enjoying activities like Pan’ o’ Prog or the Apple Orchard. We stay active and engage. We enjoy the home and community we have built in Lakeville.
Professionally, I have more than 25 years of business administration experience across the manufacturing, construction, and consulting industries. My career has given me expertise in strategy and operations. I am a quick learner and resourceful problem solver who can see both the big picture and the details needed to turn ideas into action. I bring that practical experience and perspective to my candidacy for Lakeville City Council.
As a Wife of an Army Veteran, I understand service and sacrifice. Beyond my professional career, I am a passionate public servant, experienced grassroots organizer, and dedicated community advocate. I have carried a strong sense of justice and a desire to help others with me since I was young. Now, as a parent, I see firsthand how the decisions we make today can shape our children’s futures. My oldest daughter has faced health challenges and I also have aging parents navigating complex medical needs. Caring for my family has given me a firsthand understanding of how much the supports, programs, and services available in our community can mean to a family.
It has also taught me that some of the things that make a community strong cannot be measured in dollars. Having a “village” of neighbors who look out for one another, knowing your children are safe at school, or having a local park where your family can go to breathe, play, and recharge—these are the things that create a sense of belonging and peace of mind.That is the kind of community I want to help protect and strengthen: one where families feel supported, neighbors look out for one another, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Co-Creator of Support Lakeville Teachers
Alongside other community leaders, I started and moderated the Support Lakeville Teachers Facebook group. This group was pivotal in organizing local parents and teachers to fight for equitable wages and benefits during contract negotations.
Partners in Policymaking Graduate
I am a 2021 graduate of Partners in Policymaking, a state-sponsored leadership and advocacy program. The program teaches participants how public policy works and how to influence decisions affecting education, employment, and community inclusion.
Campaign Organizer
I am a campaign organizer for a local candidate, assisting with events, fundraising and communications.
Mutual Aid Fundraising
I raised over $25,000 from donors throughout MN during Operation Metro Surge to assist with families in need of food or rent relief.
